S.T.I. (Stretching Time) was formed from indie rock band S.T.I.N.K.I.E, which already
were pretty popular at near-rock circles in Moscow. Strictly speaking, sound of STI is
rock of new wave. Music which is not confined by any borders. STI’s songs are
symbiosis of straight lyrics with distinctive sounds. Through dark atmosphere (how it
would seem to be at first glance) there’s actually life-asserting beginning infiltrates.
Like the first sunbeam forcing its way through clouds after radioactive mushroom
rain.
Interesting rhythmics and psychedelic melodic live together in STI’s tracks.
Sometimes assembled from rough cuts and sometimes skillfully played with live
instruments, STI’s music goes somewhere deeper than just your ears.
So it is better to listen than to read.
