I am here for Friends

About Me

Generally I'm a laid back person who likes to have fun, but I'm very choosy who I like to have fun with, so consequently I don't have much fun. The best times I have are with my wife. You only get one shot with me. I'm not as cool and forgiving as I might sound. Everyday is a work in progress. I am a subject of imitation, because of my uniqueness. At least that's what I think. It took me a long time to realize that I wasn't being made fun of. I've been mistaken for a man of color, because of my telephone voice. Hey, what can I say about that? I love people, but very picky about who I love.

My Interests

My Wife!!!!! Computers and Technology just happens to be my most favorite interest. Otherwise, my interests seem to be everywhere. I love old cars, coffee, beer, cigarettes, playing my guitar, beer, the weather outside, sleep, comic books, hangin' out with good friends and drinkin' beer, listening to what people have to say, learning Japanese, drawing, and meeting new people as long as they know when to go away.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who cares to know me and is truthful and fair to themselves, myself, and others. I really dislike people who are not real. Otherwise, I feel that others worth a shit will find you or each other or something. People who look for a personality in others need to stay away from me. You are not real and will waste my time. Thank you.

Music:

Ah! Music.....where would we be without it. I've been a Bob Dylan freak for 13 years now (thanks Eileen). Not a day goes by that I do not at least listen to one Dylan tune, unless I'm away from home .. My tastes are all over the board otherwise. Here's some others: Donavon Frankenreiter, Barenaked Ladies, Black Sabbath, Pearl Jam, Neil Young, Pantera, Iron Maiden, Johnny Cash, Matthew Sweet, Megadeth, Down, System of a Down, Kreator, Pink Floyd, Suicidal Tendencies, Tom Waits, Velvet Underground, Body Count, Beastie Boys, Disturbed, The Wallflowers, Slayer, Perfect Circle, The Sundays, Weird Al (one of the best live shows I've ever seen), Jewel, Dixie Chicks, Charles Mingus, Bloodhound Gang, D.R.I., Lou Reed, Metallica, Ozzy, Sepultura, The Band, Bruce Springsteen, Counting Crows, N.I.N.,......so much music out there. I'm sure there's more I can list. This could be the never ending list. Sorry to say, I'm not much a fan of modern music. I can't get into it and it all sounds the same. Is that a sign of age?

Television:

Family Guy is the best show ever. I can endlessly watch Family Guy. Lost is amazing. I love old T.V. commercials. Other shows I like are: My Name is Earl, George Lopez, The Price is Right (w/Drew Cary).....more to come. I loved TechTV, but Comcast killed them and it still pisses me off. G4 sucks and continues to suck more.

Books:

Comic Books have always been my favorite. I enjoy magazines whenever I'm in the book store or in the check out line. I love reading the newspaper wherever I am. I currently have a subscription to Chevy Classics magazine.

Heroes:

My Dad is hands down one of my biggest heroes.
