About Me

It all started with a simple love song I'd just completed, titled "Obrigado". I had the opportunity to perform an acoustic version at my good friend Art Ford's office, where it received some interest. With that song in mind, I decided: Why Not?? Let's record an entire album of versatile Love songs that I've written over the years... a sort of retrospective peek into my career. As a musician, I didn't have to give much more thought: a short while later, "In Love Again" was born.I wanted to create certain feel for this album, as if the songs are being performed live and raw, as in a club, rather than the overproduced and glossy studio work that's so common nowadays. On this note, I must mention that under the inspiring direction of Martin Lund (the great) at the helm, all of the songs were recorded LIVE with Organic instruments and fantastic musicians.Though I'm thrilled to see the project's completion, I must admit that a part of me never wanted it to end. And so, eleven magical months later, here I am...doing my best to lovingly express your silences. With Love Vaco
