This is the official page of the heavy metal band Ghost Tower, run by Matt. Thanks for checking it out. Longtime metalheads 'Evilyn Malus' (vocals) and Matt Preston (guitar) began writing songs in the summer of '07, blending heavy and uncompromising riffage with an onslaught of solos, and Evilyn's dark and unique female vocals, taking primary influence from the killer music they enjoy: Mercyful Fate, King Diamond, Old school thrash, Iron Maiden, early Sabbath, early Fates Warning, NWOBHM, Candlemass, etc. Sean Sethi was recruited to play drums and bass on the first demo. This 4-song recording (as well as what will follow) is saturated with the metal sound that the ancient masters left behind and nearly all current bands lack, but is not a carbon copy of the genre's staples that we've all heard recycled countlessly under different names. Underground is the way we like our metal, and we have no interest in making money with this band.
