Emily Claire Palmer

About Me

Emily Palmer is a Chicago-based folky, indie singer/songwritter musician extraordinaire. She's been writing songs with guitar for over ten years and singing since she was born. She recently graduated from Oberlin College with a good solid liberal arts degree. (Technically she majored in religion and dance, though her studies ranged the gamut.)Emily currently performs every Monday night at the spectacularly magnificent open mic at Chicago's own Uncommon Ground Cafe. Other performances include Oberlin College's annual Folk Fest (2006, 2007), Oberlin's Cat in the Cream Cafe, and the University of Chicago Lab School.Emily also finds it wierd to write in the third person, and may very well have to switch this whole thing up soon.
