About Me

Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Retro grey

Hello everyone! I have decided to return to myspace. For those of you who don't know me, I'm a young, married Christian woman, wife, and mother of 1 (2 counting the dog, hehe). Eventually more children will come about but not until some things get figured out. I've had ups and downs but God has shown me more blessings through the trials I've had. I hope to finish my college education before my son is in elementary school, not sure of a major quite yet though. It's between business, psychology, or sociology. I'm a nice person and I'm good at lending an ear if anyone ever needs to vent. :o)

My Interests

MySpace CountdownTraveling, family time, shopping, would like to dance if I had the opportunity (not in a strip club, stop being nasty, hehe), movies, Disney World (never too old for that place), St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Raiders (yes, I can hear you gasping in surprise), Illini Basketball and Football.

I'd like to meet:

New friends (as long as you're not crazy), old friends, a couple of celebrities who don't annoy me I guess.
MySpace Graphics & MySpace Codes

Music:

I listen to almost every genre, whatever is on the top 40 mostly. Mary J. Blige, Casting Crowns, Snow Patrol, Danity Kane, Lifehouse, Some Oldies, and many more!

Movies:

The Color Purple, Anchorman, Be Cool, old 80s movies - The Breakfast Club, The Goonies, etc. Coming to America, I Am Legend, My Best Friend's Wedding, Mean Girls, Dan In Real Life, the Saw movies, and other comedies, horror, and drama films which I'm too lazy to type out, lol...

Television:

The Office, Saturday Night Live, Travel Channel, Survivor, The Apprentice, other reality shows but not all of them, Dateline NBC, The Food Network (Paula Deen, ya'll!), Chappelle's Show, Oxygen and Lifetime Networks.

Books:

I need to read more often, the Bible is on my list. I have been reading "Who I Am In Christ" which is pretty good so far.

Heroes:

Jesus Christ will always be mentioned somewhere on my page, so deal with it! :o) He is my savior and has blessed me through the good times and bad. My husband for not letting little things in life get to him. My little sister for being the strong black woman she is. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and others in the past who have paved the way for me to live the life I have now. And a huge kudos to Madam CJ Walker for inventing a way for me to straighten my nappy hair, lol...
