Message In A Bottle
This is my home you have stumbled upon
I abandoned it to see things unseen
In a bottle, I never saw the dawn;
I saw the world in a shade of green;
I floated along on the water's path;
I never chose the road I would follow,
I never took the time or did the math
If water leaded in, I had to swallow.
Often I saw seagulls fly above:
To seek out new heights, new lands, and new times.
I never knew much of danger or love;
My so-called life was the life of mere mimes.
And now I am seeking out my own end.
