I started out on piano many years ago but transitioned to guitar about the time of college. During graduate school I was fortunate enough to see Michael Hedges perform several times and it had an enormous impact on my musical outlook. I purchased and have been predominately playing a Jim Hewett Harp guitar.Technical Info: my guitar tuning is as follows: Subbasses- GBCAE; six string- DADGAD; treble bank is a D major scale. I use K&K pickups (stereo for subbasses and 6 string; mono for treble bank). For recording I will be using a matched pair of Rode NT5s to FMR Audio "really nice" preamp to M-audio into Guitar Tracks on my IBM.
