About Me

Chuck Botelho has a diverse musical background spanning over 4 decades in the industry. From Orchestra as a youth to Originals, pop/Rock and Top 40 bands in the 70's and 80's, A Solo acoustic artist in the 80's and 90's performing New Age, Jazz , and Pop, and in the 2000's to present has focused on ensemble as well as Solo projects in Jazz, Swing, Gypsy Jazz, and R&BChuck is a Bandleader and currently maintains a Gypsy Jazz group named the "CBQ" Chuck also forms straight ahead combo's as needed and has some fabulous players to add to his projects choosing only the most passionate of players.Chuck is a sideman for many artists and projects. Chuck is an accomplished soloist/Accompianist as well.

Chuck performs solo thru ensemble depending on client needs and budget.Chuck can secure artists from any level of craftsmanship to make music with him for your event if you wish duo, trio, quartet or larger acts.Most recently members specializing in the acoustic jazz/Gypsy swing form of the "CBQ" and 'CBT" have been Marc Schwartz (HCOP), Simon Planting (RNT, JJ), Jimmy Grant, Nick Righos, Dalton Dillinham III, Lee Hayashida, Duncan Elledge, Ken Burnett, Ryan Goodpaster.please google these fine players as they all have numerous credits worthy of exploring.
