If you must have a short list here's a few. PCU, Animal House, Team America, Blade (1,2, and 3), Drunken Master remake with Jackie Chan, Rumble In the Bronx, Butterfly Effect, Dark City, that's all I can really think of right now.
I don't watch much television but when I do I mostly watch two channels, discovery and the speed channel.
I can't really say I like any one book or series of books. I like writers like Dean Koontz or Stephen King (even though he writes like a scatterbrained drunk) but I also like dull dreary informational literature as long as it's interesting to me.
