We only started playing 4 years ago when my husband to be heard me singing in the bath. My husband bought a guitar (and subsequently many more) and that was the start. We did our first paid gig at The Brook Inn in Redditch and many other local gigs followed. Our biggest and most nerve racking to date was at the Boggery, Solihull (The famous club started by Jasper Carrott in the 1970s). I have always loved singing, I remember when I was little sitting in the boiler room(because the acoustics were good) at home singing for hours. I never thought I would have the nerve to sing in front of an audience until my son was born, I wanted to overcome my fears for him and Im so glad I have! My proudest moment was when the great June Tabor, listened to my demo and told me I had a beautiful voice!!!
