ADD BACKLINK HEREMy journey began at an early age but I have been producing trance music for 5 years seriously. Throughout my childhood I always was surrounded by many styles of music. Mainly the late 80’s and early 90’s was a big influence on my as a child, from ‘Pet Shop Boys’ to ‘Prodigy’. My interest and passion for music has always been strong and as teenager I listened to Radio 1 and some tapes I had bought. I discovered at an age of 14 some cheap music software, from that day I loved to create tracks and show them to my friends and family. I have never been afraid to show and share my music with people; I even had a few people who regularly bought a disk of my tracks off me.
During my time at high school I never took music as an option and could not begin to play an instrument. But I took an A-level course in ‘Music Technology’ at college; I passed the course but feel I did not learn anything from the course. So I took a year out and searched for a suitable course to cover my interest but most of all, help me in my area and interest of music. During the year out I began to self teach some more complexed area of production, using websites and finding friends on Myspace to exchange ideas with. I am currently on a course of Music Production at Manchester, and since beginning this course I have progressed so much in terms of quality. My main source of communication with other artists and record labels is ‘Myspace’ and ‘Facebook’. I have met other unsigned artists who are at the same level of production orbetter than me. (Such Artists are listed below)
Since establishing myself on Social Networks I have collaborated with other artists and remixed for other artists too. I produce mainly trance, house and hard dance. I like to keep my mind open to all styles of music, and this can be very inspiring. I feel focusing of one style will only advance you in one direction only will little opportunity to experiment else where. Personally inspiration comes from other artist and the happenings around me. With a love for the countryside scenery can be a huge inspiration to me, and I hope to get my tracks played more often in clubs by fellow DJ’s in the near future.
