Shikisha

Shikisha has worked in the realm of Public Relations with two of Jamaica's premier agencies: Glory Music, the pemier gospel company in Jamaica and Solid Agency, which is a Dancehall artistes and events company. While with Glory Music, Shikisha worked on projects which include Fun In The Son, Gospel Train, Denbiegh at Sunset, Album launches of Carlene Davis and Ziggy Soul. She has now been afforded the opportunity of scholastic leave from the company in order to pursue Academics. In her time at Solid Agency, Shikisha has worked on events such as FullyLoaded, Over Loaded, ReLoaded, Appleton Temptation Live, as well as the premiere of Rude Bwoy.Shikisha has served her classmates consistently since high school and has been their elected speaker and representative. She has been House Representative, Student Council Member, Peer Councillor, and was awarded the Citizenship Award.At UTech, she was elected Group Rep in year 1 & 2 during which time she fought for a change in the groups schedule because there was no IT Lab for them and had the module moved to another semester. She has also served on the Union's PR Committee during which time she organised 3 forums held in February 2008.
