KumQuat Tunes is an international label based in Zurich, Switzerland founded in Spring 2005 and dedicated to exploring the deeper and uplifting sides of the electronic music.
Nowaday, Ondrej Kolacek (DJ, Label Head & A&R) manages solely the label with the support of Gabriela Kreiss (Art Director, PR Management & Bookings).KumQuat’s approach to each release ensures that there will be something to appeal to a wide range of tastes. Its approach is simple and very effective. Each release features a deep, melodic element combined with a harder and more driving edge. This leads to recordings that vary from banging progressive to more emotional grooves, but it’s all deep and it’s all good.
The label showcases a wide range of artists who come from various musical backgrounds. The aim is to create a strong music pool with well-known and unknown artists from around the globe. This diversity will give shape to a unique artistic project committed to delivering high-class music.
