About Me

Wingfield is a musical attempt to connect with the audience who are struggling with the same issues as I. It is quite cliche to question "God" these days. I believe even for me it started as an attempt to artistically fit in with the entire world of creative artist that were questioning everything we had been brought up to believe. Even more recently, there is an upswing on the horizon where it is cool once again to claim yourself as a Christian. I hate to jump on the bandwagon again and do the "underground" proclamation like before and then be back in the questioning state when it falls from popularity again. Therefore the songs are derived from my struggle to find something real and not the wishy washy faith my life has been built on thus far. Everything in me wants to believe there is a God, but at this point I am questioning everything. I hate this, but I hope that at the end I can be secure in whatever I believe. I do not claim to be an amazing musician in the least, however, the emotion of music is extremely captivating to me. Music allows me to create a passionate escape with my doubts, insecurities, hopes, struggles, longings... I hope that for anyone going through the same right now the music will let you know that you are not alone. These songs are not an attempt to get signed or discovered, those days are gone. I am married, I work everyday, and have other creative ambitions. Check out the songs (very rough mixes), if you like the lyrics- learn them and come sing them with me because the way I see it- we are all in this together.
