I grew up in Ojai, Ca. Surfing, music and farming are my passions! One day while surfing my home break, the Dead came and played. I could hear them from the water. This was a very interesting expeirence, so I decided to look more into it. Wow! I was truly impressed, so after some meditation on the subject I got on the bus. Later I became an exchange student for my senior year in high school and spent a year in New Zealand studying and surfing. After this I really had the travel bug. When I got back from N.Z. I worked for a short time at the Patagonia Co., but the road was calling and I listened. I traveled for some years going to Shows and Rainbow Gatherings seeing the country. This was an amazing and unforgetable expeirence always to be cherished. After about three years of being on the road I decided to settle down in Hawaii to plant my roots and of course surf. I have now lived in Hawaii 16 years. I have a beautifull son Makaiao. I lived in Waipio valley for ten years where my son was born and where I started farming Taro, the sacred ancient staple of the Hawaiian people. I also started working as a trailguide taking people on horseback rides. I have lived on the island of Kauai for 6 years. I still surf, play, listen and see good music, farm Taro, work with horses and enjoy life!!! Thanks for caring.
