Dj and Dancer...who said I can't do both? My name is Adrienne. Here's my story....Only because I'm asked this question at least once a day...My mom is Italian and my dad black and cherokee. I'm pretty complex. There's a lot to me. As far as first impressions are concerned....I'm commonly misjudged, misunderstood and misread. I have very strong morals and values and only strive for the best! I'm very versatile. As of August of 1998 I have been employed by Crobar Chicago. I'm the dance manager and my girls ROCK! I actually started dancin in the clubs as way back as '96! (good ole Excalibur lol...yeah...that was me ha ha-and NO I'M NOT A STRIPPER NOR WAS I EVER. I know that rumor has been following me around since as long as I can remember lol). I also am a choreographer, former dance teacher and have done many music videos. There are a lot of you who know me as a personal trainer. I trained for many many years. My career in the fitness industry started in December of 1995 and ended in December of 2006. I loved it, yet when I chose to fully pursue being a DJ, I had to make a choice. My DJ name was Adrie Marie (pronounced Ay-Dree----a lot of people have a hard time with that for some reason so switched it up to what I'm most known for in the Chi---Dj Dancer). I started in summer of 2005. I have advanced in a short amount of time behind the decks due to working so long in the industry and having the luxury of being able to hear/dance to some wicked DJs every weekend for the past 12 years. Come out and support this Chicago born and raised, up and coming female DJ!!!! Currently, I'm @ Victor Hotel 1st Thursday of the month (deep house set), ShadowBar every other thursday and every 3rd saturday @ Martini Ranch (electro/tech house set)....... I play ALL types of HOUSE...: electro, tech, gritty, deep and tribal. Keep an eye on my page.
