Kenny D. was fortunate to attend one of the final concerts as a guest of Michael Jackson's The Bad World Tour At Los Angeles Sports Arena in 1988. As well as one of the final shows of MJ & The Jacksons Victory Tour at Dodger Stadium in 1984. And then finally meeting Michael in person at an exclusive recording studio just only minutes away frm his parents Encino home, while Michael was working on the remix of "Dirty Diana".

wonderful happy memories that will never be forgotten.

Born into Rock N' Roll literally as a baby. Moving into the house where Iron Butterfly lived in, and eventually having Jefferson Airplane/Hot Tuna become your next door neighbors, no one has been closer to the music scene. Growing up around where it all started on the World Famous Sunset Strip and working for a major Los Angeles Newspaper. Being responsible in LA for breaking one of the biggest stories in Rock N' Roll, as in the Death of Kurt Cobain. Always in touch with new bands and staying ahead of the music trends. Kenny D has followed talent into becoming household names. From the tiny stages of the Sunset Strip to the MTV Video Music Awards all the way to The Grammy's & The Brit Awards London, England, Kenny D has been on some of the Worlds Biggest Stages, and knows what it takes to get there. ******************************************* Kenny D attended Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, CA where he studied Percussion with World Famous Luis Conte, and Drumset with well known great Peter Donald. True Fact: While not knowing that year, taught in the same classroom with Peter Donald was Abe Laboriel Jr. who later became Paul McCartney's Drummer. ******************************************* Kenny D seen on TV, MTV's THE OSBOURNES "My Big Fat Jewish Wedding" (Season 2, Episode 11 2003)*******************************************Kenny D performed with Stephen Perkins of Jane's Addiction @ Summer Meltdown Tour ’08.Nearly a dozen bands took the stage between 2:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. The headliner was Trapt, and the lineup featured Stephen Perkins of Jane’s Addiction, The Craze, Guilt by Association, Conjob, Un:armed, Mission Black, Cry Havoc, Surface Rising, Maxwell Smart, and Renfue. With his charitable work, Kenny D has donated time to where it's needed the most. Reaching into the hearts and souls who have never tasted the sense from there bodies from a live drum. Accompanied with the originator who started it all Joey Klaparda (Age oV Reason/Kiss The Monkey) and Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction/Porno4Pyros/Panic Channel/Banyan) and featuring some of the worlds greatest drummers such as Greg Bissonette (Santana/Studio), Gary Novak (Alanis Morrisette/Chick Corea), John Molo (Bruce Hornsby/John Fogerty), and Eric Bobo (Cypress Hill) just to name a few who have performed music therapy using drums and percussion. With the help and support from REMO Drums, which donated a drumset and percussion instruments to be passed out to all, this became one of the most interactive camp activities for Camp Joan Mier Malibu, CA. Even bringing tears of joy to a child's parents who have never, in their lives seen there daughter make a facial expression. This also brought the attention of other drumming groups which formed from our Sunday performances at the Camp overlooking the Pacific Ocean. With one of our fellow drummers, Bobby Alt starting another formation notably called Street Drum Corps. ****************************************** Kenny D. is experienced with a solid musical/media background and a strong spiritual grounding, as well as being a conscientious good human being. With experience and a strong work ethic on projects that make a difference to yourself and others around you.
