I was born in a little town in Ukraine. I am the oldest of ten children. It was rough growing up we had to work really hard to be able to survive from season to season. Mom had a child every year and there was so much work to do on the farm and the garden, As the oldest, I had to run the house a lot even when I was just a little girl. I felt like the second mom. I had always heard about America - how nice it was and that women had as much freedom as men. I heard that you could be a Christian and not have your grades lowered because of it and not get called bad names or have things thrown at you. So I prayed and prayed and then, it happened! We came to this country in May of 1997. I will never forget that night. I thought it was heaven. The streets were clean, there was electricity at all times, and it was beautiful. I got involved in the local Slavic church but as time went on I knew that God wanted more from me then just singing at church. I got married to an AWESOME guy, who is a great man of God and is very supportive of my ministry. Our passion is to help people in need. We want to have wells full of clean water in Africa and to help people get on their feet so they can support their families and send the message of Christ’s love throughout the world. We want to get hungry children off the streets in Ukraine and other places around the world. We also want to get through to the youth of America’s Slavic communities. We want to get the message of Christ through the style of music that they like to listen to - not the same stuff that their great grandparents were singing when they were young. We hope and pray that their parents will let the kids listen to this music if it comes from a Ukrainian girl. Maybe it will even help the older generation to stop looking at things that are not so important and focus on Christ’s love and His message to us all. The most important thing is our relationship with Christ. I have always wanted to be an inspiration to people. I think that God gave me a chance to reach people through my singing. At least, I hope so.
