I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm an amateur historian and book lover. Now, now...before you get to thinking I'm a dull nimrod, there's something you should know: you're right! Good job! I reinforce negative stereotypes! Anywho, I work at the Maritime Museum of San Diego as a living history education instructor. In my time off, and when I have the money, I attend historical reenactments around Southern California. I also enjoy movies, long walks on the beach, and poetry by the fire.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Fellow history nerds, nerds in general, fun people, etc etc.

My Blog

Farewell to Books

Half of my libris is now my ex-libris. Realizing the lack of space available to me, and the pain of trying to move them all time and again, I have sold or donated roughly half of my books. I feel surp...

Redcoat Ramblings 4

I have just received a new, modern pair of glasses, thus concluding my experiment of wearing period glasses on a day to day basis of about four years. Here are my conclusions (nothing too surprising):...

First off, new tricorne! Hooray! It's a beauty, and it has enough room for the wig I'll eventually need.I've always been a fan of historical experiments, as is evident by the 19th century wallet that ...
