Nina was born in Taranto, in 1982. Ever since she was 8 years old one could see in her a natural attitude towards the music, while she used to listen to groups such as Kiss, Litfiba and Clash. When she becomes 14 years old, she starts to play guitar, studying it by herself, inspired by Alanis Morissette's "Jaggle little pill". At the age of 18, she steps for the first time on a stage with a group presenting an inedited song. In 2005, her attention is dragged towards the drums and in June 2007 she receives an electric bass as a gift. In November 2007, Nina meets Joe (Giovanni Orlando), with which she founds out of the blue and spontaneously the Joe Black Group (Joe, Ilaria and Nina). Right from the beginning, her human qualities and her great passion for music are conspicuously present. With Nina the band is complete, and she starts to write her own bass lines, which give her personal touch to songs. Besides, thanks to her musical skills, she also helps in arranging and mixing the songs of the group. In particular, she writes one of the most representative songs of the group My little soldier, that is inspired to real facts.
Nina nasce a Taranto nel 1982, già all’età di 8 anni si intravede una naturale attitudine verso la musica ascoltando gruppi quali i “Kiss, Litfiba e Clashâ€. All’età di 14 anni iniziava a suonare la chitarra come autodidatta ispirata da “Jaggle little pill†di Alanis Morissette. A 18 anni sale per la prima volta su un palco con un gruppo che porta un brano inedito. Nel 2005 inizia a cimentarsi con la batteria, quando nel giugno 2007 le viene regalato un basso elettrico. Nel novembre 2007 Nina incontra Joe (Giovanni Orlando), da questa unione molto spontanea nasce il Joe Black Group (Joe, Ilaria e Nina). Da subito si percepiscono le sue grandi qualità umane e la sua immensa passione per la musica; così si completa con lei la Band, con la quale Nina inizia a comporre sue linee melodiche con il basso riuscendo ad imprimere anche la sua personalità ai brani. Oltre a ciò, Nina grazie alle sue innate doti musicali, collabora attivamente agli arrangiamenti ed al mixaggio dei brani. In particolare, grazie ad un suo testo carico di emozione e tratto da un fatto realmente accaduto, da il là ad uno dei brani più rappresentativi ed emotivi che il Joe Black Group compone, “My little soldierâ€
