Welcome to my PAGE!!!! Let me take a minute to introduce myself. I was born September 11, 1984 to a strong black queen, which means that I was created and molded into a compelling black princess. I have spent everyday of my life knowing exactly who I am and whom I was destined to become. I am pleased with the accomplishments I have made and I am unconcerned about the obstacles that may lay ahead. I am dignified in saying that I am college graduate, but I am more further satisfied with knowing that I have over come the non-believers. I AM SCREAMING MY SUCCESS IS MY REVENGE! I received my B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Arlington's School of Public and Urban Affairs with a concentration in Business and Communication Studies!I stand 5 foot 2 inches tall weighing 125 pounds (yes I got my weight up lol) in a pair of six inch stiletto heels. I would offer you a short walk in my shoes but I promise they wouldn't fit. My skinny jeans fit my frame impeccably, My M.A.C. makeup is applied immaculately, my Vicki's secret lip gloss is always absolutely popping, and my hair is always I compliment to my ensemble. I look in the mirror and greet myself with "HELLO CANDY". My alter ego is a beast but she is only one side of me.SHAYLA is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and companion. I am a lover who stands strong for my beliefs and whom will fight for what I love. I am an INDIVIDUAL who strongly believes in creating her own destiny. I am convinced that originality is more superior to any borrowed idea. I was born to lead so I will never be reduced to becoming a follower. I was taught to nurture so my greatest joy is being Skyla's mother. But more than anything I was raised to be a forceful, secure, and well-founded black woman and that has become my only mission in life. My life has not been easy and NOTHING has been handed to me, but MY LIFE has been MY LIFE and I wouldn't trade any part of it. I live to appease only myself and that seems to be just fine with the only two people that matter my mother and God. In conclusion you may love me, you may hate me, you may love to hate me, but I am ME and that is something you WILL NEVER BE!
