About Me

Hey everyone my name is Ashley and I reside in Trenton,NJ. I'm at North Carolina A&T for Print Journalism. I am very very down to earth person, i love to laugh have fun and be real.I love to sing even though i haven't done it in a while, I love dancing, and writing most of all. I hope to finish my book and have it published. Other than that I am 5'4 thick, just as beautiful as God made me. I went natural in June 2006 and proud to say I recently started my sister locs. YAY lol. I am a very powerful, spiritual and unique young woman.

As far as relationships goes......I am currently single but im at a point where i realize God wants me to allow him to bring that next man into my life so now im just waiting patiently and trust me it gets hard. Especially when you find yourself in situations that you never thought you would fall into, but God allows everything to happen for a reason. A man of God who is molded for me is what Im waiting for, and I hope and pray that God will allow me to be the same to him as he is to me.

My testimony..... I've been through alot of changes lately; my walk with God is on a whole new level and i am glad that i made it. It was very hard, I had to let go of alot of people that i didnt want to,but when God is ready to show you you're annointing you cant be distracted(Just like if you had to make money you wouldnt have time for anyone or anything that would lead you astray),and the hardest thing was facing my past and forgiving myself. I thank God for the testimony he has given because i can honestly look back at my life, acknowledge it for what it was and move on. Im not perfect I am human too, but Im at a point where I refuse to let the flesh be in control. Yes I still slip up and make mistakes, but God blesses me to see how I messed up and how I can correct it.

Some of my likes..... I am a very very old spirited person.lol I love R&B, Neo-Soul, Old Skool, SLow Jams and Gospel. I truly love music that has a meaning. I like almost everything,Im very open to new things and I try my best at all I like having friends you can never have to many,but you can have some that you need to let go of! I can be crazy at times but most people enjoy my perky spirit.lol(It can get annoying at times but who doesnt have flaws.)

WOW I love to read Im a bookworm and I actually wrote a book, but I tend to read African American Fiction, urban literature, politcal fiction, Religious/Spiritual Literature, and Im pretty much open to any other genre. Books and music go hand and hand to me because words in a book are simply the songs of ones mind and every song has a story behind it!!..

Heroes:

my mother i love her to death. She is the only reason i have to stay strong.And most importantly Jesus, because without him I would not be able to be Alive and share the relationship with God that I have.
