Sista Hope

Poet- My journey as a poet began when I was 10 years young, making friends with the pen and paper was the best thing I could do when I got home from School and before my bedtime. I guess it was the only form of expression I could ever express myself in. I also loved reading, thereafter reflect on the content or subject matter of what I had read and write my own version what ever the medium I was reading had illustrated.
Guiater Player- Well the guitar is the best instrument I ever came across, I'm still learning though. I picked-up the guitar after I watched Lauryn Hill- Unplugged and ever since then we have been soulmates.
Creative Artist - As a creative Artist I fuse my poetry with Underground Hip-Hop, Reggae and play guitar while performing.
Filmmaker- In the film industry I started working for the Cape Film Commission at the Runway Film Resource Centre. I'm also an upcoming Producer and want to learn Cinematography and Compositing.
Music Artist Manager- I manage, promote and market music artists and their intellectual property. I've got 3 Artists that are my core focus at this point.
Project Manager, Facilitor & Activist- I've been involved in community development from Primary School, it all started in Grade 6, when I tought Maths, English and Science to kids in lower Grades than myself. Ever since then I've been back and forth helping in the alliviation of the standards of the Cape Flats, particularly Delft South. I've been involved in organising poetry, music and other social events, fundraising, Life Skills Facilitation, etc.
Sista Hope formally known as Sinethemba Hope Magona is a young woman who is involved in many activities within Rastafari Faith and with the world as a whole.SHE IS FROM CAPE TOWN THE HOME OF PURE REGGAE MUSIC AND WHERE THE MAJORITY OF THE RASTA POPULATION IS SITUATED IN SOUTH AFRICA(these are accurate statistics)
She is a Project Co-ordinator at a Cape Film Commission's Runway Film Resource Centre in South Africa, Cape Town.
She is a Talent/Reggae Music Promoter and Manager for Upcoming Artists. She herself a Poet who does Music & Spoken Word playing guitar,she also writes songs for Musicians.
She is an activists who is working with the youth in the communities of Cape Town, She likes to send her time at Orphanage homes giving the young people love and support. She is a Life skills AND HIV/AIDS Ambassador.
She is a Training,workshops and courses facilitator,mianly focusing on the Creative Industry."There is a need for human disciplines in all areas of Art"says Sista Hope.
