About Me
OK, where to begin...um, well, first off, my name's Matt...OK I guess that's a pretty good start. As far as my personality goes, I guess I’m a pretty easy-going guy. I try to be nice and friendly to everyone, even if you give me shit (it’s just not in my nature to be an asshole). I’m usually a perfectionist and a neat freak. I’m loud, a bit of a spaz and a nerd, but I can also be extremely lazy. One thing about me that anyone should know is that I do have a bit of a short temper; but I also have a guilty conscience so if it seems like I’m upset at you, it’s usually that I either wasn’t thinking about what I said or how I said it or I was just letting off steam without even knowing it and chances are I will most likely cool off, go back to normal, and apologize soon anyway. I tend to make a big deal about things, both good and bad. Little things both piss me off and make me happy; something like a simple conversation between one person makes me happy, but sometimes that can cause me to get too attached too fast. On the other had, I blow bad things out of proportion; like if I think I made an ass of myself (which I think happens often), sometimes I feel like my life is pointless (I'm working on this aspect of myself though). The one thing about myself that I am not proud of is that I’m extremely self-conscious and I very easily get down on myself when something goes wrong in my life. It's always been hard for me to act in most social situations, and I often don't think about what I'm saying or say something stupid to fit in. I tend to beat myself up (I’ve been that way since I was a kid), but I am constantly working on this too. Let's see, other fun stuff, uh...OK well, my favorite color is orange. My favorite food is probably kalimari. My biggest fear is going to hell. Since I was a kid my biggest passion has been paleontology (the study of dinosaurs and other prehistoric/extinct animals). I'm fascinated by mythology (especially Greek and Egyptian) and I love crappy Japanese monster movies, like Godzilla and Gamera (which is a giant flying turtle). I'm a BIG caffine addict and a bit of a germaphobe. I ride my bike a lot and wear my headphones ALL the time when I'm outside. My biggest pet peves are calling soda "pop", people who always change their AIM screen name, getting sick, sunburn, and hypocrites. I tend to stare...a lot, actually...sorryI have a heavy metal online radio show called "M^4: Monster Matt's Metal Mayhem!"
