New CD coming soon!

About Me

Understand this, 'cause it's very important... Songs About Robots create an intelligent brand of noise rock. Building on disparate influences from Mingus to Van Halen, the Robots combine melodic bass, explosive drums, frenzied textural guitar and smooth/rough contrapuntal vocal work in a powerful, well-crafted maelstrom. Described as having a "classic Akron sound," Songs About Robots is ready to blow up at your next UFOlogy meeting, cryptid festival, backyard BBQ, or weekend at the local club!
Numena Productions founder Brian Fatah Steele on Songs About Robots: "Songs About Robots has emerged with a sudden force and has easily positioned themselves as one of the most engaging new acts in the Northeast Ohio music scene. They have achieved that certain 'indie' credibility while maintaining a much needed pop sensibility, their songs somehow both esoteric and accessible at the same time. Their music might lead me to utter the phrase 'Operatic Garage,' but even that oxymoron doesn't quite capture the dynamic sound. Able to perform among a myriad of genre-specific bills, I doubt Songs About Robots will falter in their ascent any time soon."

Jason Clark: Plays the bass. There's an FBI file on this guy a mile long.

Michael Jones: Plays the guitar. Once killed a man in a South Side Youngstown nightclub, then performed a voodoo ritual to bring him back and pay his tab.
