The Performance Lab is an awesome platform that allows artist to develop & nurture their craft. There is a 3 judge panel of experts
that critique their strengths & weaknesses, & they are allowed to come back every Sunday with those changes incorporated.
A winner in each category (Acting, singing, poetry, & dance.) is selected from week to week, & must return to defend their crown. The competition is fun, but the true beauty is seeing the performers development as artist. There is a Grand Showcase every (3) months between the top performers of that quarter for major prizes.
Casting directors & Producers have deemed it the perfect arena for an "unofficial" audition. The theater is intimate, the judges are hilarious, but dead
on, & the atmosphere is electric! We support & advertise small businesses from the stage as well.
The Performance Lab is every Sunday @ the Silver House Theater, 1107 Chartres, starting at 7:15pm, & the door is $5. The artist pays nothing to perform; we just ask that they recognize the Lab when they blow up!
