My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Trey Parker, Kurt Vonnegut (alas--my chance has passed), Jon Stewart, Stephen Hawking, Stephen King.

Music:

I love music--listening to it and singing.
Your Taste in Music:
80's Alternative: Highest Influence
90's Alternative: Highest Influence
80's Rock: Medium Influence
Adult Alternative: Medium Influence
Alternative Rock: Medium Influence How's Your Taste in Music?

Movies:

Anything funny. Tommy Boy, South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut, American Beauty, Office Space, Billy Madison, etc. I know a lot about Star Wars now from watching with my son. All 6 movies (except the second half of Episode 1) and Clone Wars. Since I have kids I watch a lot of children's movies, too, which is not too bad because I enjoy cartoons and musicals.

Television:

Lost. South Park. The Daily Show and the Colbert Report. The Office. Heroes. 30 Rock. Earl. American Idol (but if the two people I like go home, it is not worth watching anymore). Baseball (especially Braves baseball). Oh, and I must not forget: Power Rangers Mystic Force. (If you had told me five years ago that I would willingly watch Power Rangers I would never have believed you--but it is better than Barney, I can promise you that.)

Books:

Anything well-written. I like literary fiction best, but I read non-fiction, too. I'm not going to list every book I like because that could fill a book.

Heroes:

My son--he saves me from bad guys all the time.

no way

The military. A rebellion would have no chance against the U.S. military. The military would have to be on the side of the revolutionaries. I see no other way.

politics as usual makes me want to vomit

I am so tired of this. And by "this" I mean the back and forth between Republicans and Democrats over every big and little thing. They are all corrupt. They are all self-motivated. And above all, they...
