Brandon David

Introducing Brandon David, an aspiring traditional pop, jazz, soul singer and songwriter.Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, David, 26, sang mostly with a school chorus, but discovered his passion for singing as a soloist in mid-2007 after an open mic performance of the The Beatles "Yesterday" with two unknown guitarists in the East Village.As a kid, he listened to his grandmother's music collection and became heavily influenced by traditional pop standards, ballads, jazz, R&B and big band classics.David currently sings with the A cappella group 495 East based in Long Island, N.Y. which books their own stage and radio shows.He recently appeared with the group on the Mickey B Jukebox Review Radio Show on WGBB 1240 AM. In May, David also appeared at a reading for the lead character, James in "No Higher Power," a developing operetta based in NYC.He expects to release a demo of originals later this year.
