About Me

Quadramatic is a band made up of five guys who love music, love to play music, and all have similar ideas about what makes music good and who makes good music. Nobody is really pissed off at the world and nobody digs violence, but nobody is going around taking LSD, failing to have a shower, or sticking poppies into the business ends of gun barrels at military parades. Nobody is tirelessly involved in trying to use music to change the world into their personal vision of Heaven or Hell or to market an opinion. The guys in this band advertise their opinions by playing music, having a good time, helping other people have a good time, and by not stepping on anybody's toes or pissing on anybody's parade. Nobody feels the need to outshine anybody or put anybody else down; its an unspoken agreement that there is room for all of us and that diversity is a good thing. The band plays music that makes people smile and want to get on their feet and move their asses. This band is about having fun, so to all you scowling self-pity addicts out looking for a black cloud to brood under, this is really not your scene. We're not hosting a fashion show. So-called "social misfits" are considered Our Honored Guests, and everybody is cool as long as they don't act like a total schmuck (guys who spend an inordinate amount of time meticulously messing up their highlighted hair and who wear precisely ripped-up "factory worn" jeans: those are expressions of amusement you keep noticing on people's faces—not admiration). Nobody will blast some tired-ass political sermon through a bullhorn; we're not hosting a forum for political debates, and our music stage is not a campaign platform. Racism is NOT WELCOME; every color in the big crayon box is totally cool with us (although anybody who is "Outrageous Orange" should probably see a doctor). Thus far the band does not have anything more than a rough live demo of an original song available for public consideration, but we're presently writing and recording. When more material becomes available it will be made known.Three final observations:1. We DON'T write the songs that make the young girls cry;2. They may have built this city on Rock 'N' Roll, but we're gonna tear it down with Avant Garde Experimental Calypso;3. We may not rock you like a hurricane, but we'll at least rock you like a really bad electrical thunderstorm. With hail.
