Most people, at first sight, think me to be pessimistic or dark and brooding. Quite the contrary, I am extremely optimistic about the coming collapse of modern society. Think of all the good it will do for our planet: save the environment, give endangered species room to repopulate, stop pollution, roll back the greenhouse effect, etc. I don't pretend to know how the fall of mankind will come about, whether by meteor or comet strike, plague, nuclear war, technological mishap, alien invasion or zombie attack; I'm just sure it's coming. The end of the world as we know it does not necessarily mean the end of humankind. I believe that the human race can and will survive the coming apocalypse, albeit in smaller numbers. I intend to be one of those survivors.
