Tea for Two
I'm discontented with homes that are rented so I have invented my own.
Darling this place is a lover's oasis where life's weary chase is unknown.
Far from the cry of the city, where flowers pretty caress the streams,
Cozy to hide in, to love side-by-side in. Don't let it abide in my dreams.Picture you upon my knee, just tea for two and two for tea,
Just me for you and you for me, alone!
Nobody near us, to see us or hear us,
No friends or relations on weekend vacations,
We won't have it known, dear, that we own a telephone, dear.
Day will break and you'll awake and I will bake
A sugar cake for you to take for all the boys to see.
We will raise a family, a boy for you, a girl for me,
Can't you see how happy life would be?
Good question... ... =)
"For it is not inertia alone
that is responsible for human relationships repeating
themselves from case to case, indescribably monotonous and
unrenewed: it is shyness before any sort of new, unforeseeable
experience with which one does not think oneself able to cope. But only someone who is ready for everything, who excludes
nothing, not even the most enigmatical, will live the relation
to another as something alive..."
-Rainer Maria Rilke
Anything and everything-20's-80's, punk, jazz, psychedelic, pop, broadway, blues, classic rock, reggaeton, metal, country, any rock, rap, folk, indie, latin, classical, r&b, alternative, christian, Irish, opera, hip-hop, techno, swing, kids, oldies and everything in between.
Everything I've ever seen. Movie whore. Seriously.
The classics, the newbies, the dramatic, the funny, the witty, the educational, the music, the lame ... it's all good.
Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Anne of Green Gables series, Blue Like Jazz, Summer at Tiffany's, and many a biography.
