Band Members: Jon Combs is an extremely versatile singer, with a voice that can range from almost bass to the upper ranges of tenor, bordering on contralto. The names that are most often brought up in comparison are Eric Burdon, Jim Morrison, and touching on Keith Relf. One man in the audience one night was overheard to say, "That boy sings like a fallen angel. I'm glad my daughter isn't here tonight."Jon is a master at working a crowd, and can take his audience anywhere he wants them with a look, a lyric, a movement, and shear force of personality. His combination of innocent good looks and badboy charm affect both female and male audience members, all for the good of his band. This is a man with true frontman quality. Not only is Jon a born frontman, he is a talented songwriter and arranger, prefering to work with originals, while retaining the ability to take a cover and make it unique to whatever band he is working with. He will come to the right band with a wide repertoire ready to go, and is a quick study when learning fresh material. You will never lack for a new lineup when working with Jon.Jon also plays harmonica and bass guitar, although his voice has always been, and will remain, his primary instrument.Jon originally hails from California, has lived until recently in Tennessee, and now considers the highway to be his true home. He was born to tour, and is happiest when on the road.
