About Me
I am 22 years old. I've lived to see the falling of a wall at Brandenburg's gate, the ending and beginning of Persian wars, the collapse of the Soviet Union, a slave of apartheid become a President, the beginning of the world wide web, and I have seen dreams come to life in third world countries. I have lived a first rate life where I can wake up in the morning and say, "I don't want anything more." People who care about me and enjoy my presence surround me. Though I am not perfect, there are people that dislike me, but I know that there are ten times more who love me. I make my days count because these 22 years have gone by in a blink. I've survived my father and my father's father. I know the difference between right and wrong, which is more then I can say for some. My happiness is priceless and therefore it cannot be bought, bartered, or traded. Stand in my way you will come face to face with my will. Knock me down and I will get up and for those who cannot I will defend you from those who are heartless. You may hurt me with your words, you may cut me with your lies but as history shows the good always prevail. This story ends with an ending that can't be described because it is indescribable my mind is the only thing that can piece together my future. My only sure reward is that at the end of each day I can be blessed for what I do have instead of what I do not. I give, I heal, and I stand. My friends are my patrons and I am thankful for them joining me on this journey of a beautiful thing called life. Unfortunately, friends come and go they seem to go more then they come so I cherish them and so shall we all. My mother is to be envied by women everywhere. She stands freely, she holds down the fortress, and has selflessly cared for me far more then I could ever ask for. We all have dreams, ideals, and aspirations. How we get there is always the question. However, if we stand firm, live to life as life to love, follow our hearts and minds, and be wise of our choices then anything is possible. Improbable, unlikely, maybe, but we will accomplish many more things if we did see them as impossible. Our actions, our decisions, will always dictate the life we lead. Nevertheless, we have one life to live and whether you’re a delivery boy at dominos or a chairman at Microsoft we all breathe the same air, we all have the chance to live the same lives. Stand by your principals and morals and you'll do just fine. Don't let people judge who you are or what you do; the future is not for the faint hearted. The future does not belong to those who are content with today, apathetic toward common problems and their fellow man alike, timid and fearful in the face of new ideas and bold projects. Rather it will belong to those who can blend vision, reason and courage in a personal commitment to the ideals and great enterprises of our society. Men have moved the world, whether for good or bad, but so can we all. Quando sogno, sognare in grande. "When you dream, dream big." I SEE YOU, understand that and you can understand any obstacle or trench life may throw at you. Our future may lie beyond our vision, but it is not completely beyond our control.
