Beyond Other Dimensions

Somewhere middle of the thousands of forests and lakes of Karjala there is a band called Beyond Other Dimensions, also known as B.O.D.. The band is mixture of it’s five member’s imagination, influences, abilities, brains, guts, balls, unbeatable attitude, cats, dogs, etc... Since B.O.D. was formed in 2005 by Talka & Nieminen it has decided to blow up your heads and ears, drop the birds from the sky, spook all the grannies on the streets and do things like they should be done. Today we see that the worlds Heavy music industry is a cliché assembly line spree. That is not the way music should be done. It’s said that Heavy Metal was cool until there were something like billion bands thinking they were the hottest band on the planet and unfortunately it is true. Because nobody else (not your mom or dad, not god nor Santa Claus) won’t do it, B.O.D. took the battle against those standards as it’s job in order to pay tribute to their influencers and you can hear it in the band’s material; it is well finalized and everything has been thought over and over for too many times so that there would be a maximum ”quality” in it. Band’s material isn’t something that is made in few moments with a flip of a finger, it’s something much, much more. It is made of finest ingredients of real Rock music with such a heart and dedication that you won’t believe it - but don’t worry, we’ll make you believe.
During these few years many players and wannabes have been and gone, problems have been faced and solved, many fights have been argued and settled, nerves been racked and success been gained on this ride that goes on and on towards... well, who knows! The band has released three self-produced EPs, of which the latest one, Nuclear Family is the best example considering what the band is capable of and what it wants to be. This is what we have become and in this point the band has demanded much time, sweat, laughter, head ache, money, dedication and determination of its members but you have to be ready to for all this if you want to make success. The goals for the future are simple: gigs, training, promoting, training and more training. The main goal is to work hard enough to some day reach the level where we can record our first full length album. The way there won’t be all fun and smile but problems will be solved as have been this far. No, the will and determination will not run out.
These factors equal a full throttle Thrash Metal influenced Heavy Rock and -Metal ride with an overdose of old school attitude to kick your ass and balls at the same time with its canoe-sized boot! Ugh! The band has spoken, so what are you still doing here?!?!
