WE HAVE NEW MUSIC 10 SONGS AND COUNTING, THEY SHOULD BE READY TO GO BY JUNE/JULY OR SOMETIME BEFORE THEY DISCOVER ALIEN LIFE- HOPEFULLY THRU AMAZON/CD BABY/ITUNES AND MY MOTHERS NURSING HOME- WE HAVE SOME HEAVYWEIGHTS ON THE TEE FOR RECORDING, SO CHECK BACK FROM TIME 2 TIME TO SEE HOW WE ARE DOIN'--- HELPS KEEP US ACCOUNTABLE $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$"THE BIRD BOYZ" Gee wilikers....how do i kram a lifetime of musical shenanigans into a little ol' bio??5 different incarnations... lots of funny stuff... 6 excellent songwriters.. We were recently CONTACTED by yet another SEABIRD! Well...they have had made some noise and are much younger and cuter, but all turf wars aside, we have had the name for 30 years, and I think we could take em'. I mean there are like 10 of us and only four of them, Lets RUMBLE!&&&&&&&&&&&am p;&&&&&&&&&&&&am p;&&&&&&&&&&&&am p;&&&&&&&&&&&&am p;&&&&&&&&&You know, there has been lots of stuff put on tape, but damm, if we can't pull it all together and putz us out a COMPilation...i mean heck, we could crank out a CD (or 8 track tape or 78) a week for the next 6 months and we wouldn't put a dent in the vault!++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++This little "tasting menu" is from 1980... and in my opinion (despite a somewhat dated sounding recording - just tweak your trebbel and bass to yur likin' and it'll be dandy) it has substance-lyric-story-melody-hook-drive & listenability...and this was 27 yrs ago ("Don't Disguise" was a Billboard TOP PICK, by the dingy).... it stands the test of time - fact is...it's the songs... it's all about the songs, i mean i just saw the jonas bros. and them guys is geniouses --- we, as an entity, are not delusional.. we are mildly "seasoned", and we know that.... we are not going to be out barnstoming the world on a freakin tour bus...but the business of music is changing rapidly, and that can be to the benefit of artists like us, there are tons more ways to skin this cat_________________________________________________________ ______I remember one of my favorite quotes from a review in the Boston Globe " I caught The Seabird Band at "Tracks" and unfortunatley, they were playing to a small crowd...but knocked me out of my chair... they sounded like "world beaters...." ************************************************************ ***Sadly....we lost one of our biggest supporters and also our former manager...our guitarist Father... D.H. ...we love you...and we hope that we can get a bunch of new kool stuff and rehash some o' fav's in your honor_______________________________________________________ _________Lets all support each other out there you bunch of wacky musicians!!
