Hello friends and fans!!!
My name is Dave. i am a songwriter, performer, parent, and businessman. I have two wonderful daughters Sabre-15 and Soraya-8. My kids are my everyday inspiration. They change my life everyday and seeing them grow, succeed, laugh and smile warms my very soul.
I am a man of principle, i'm honest, caring, dependable, responsible,trusting (where deserved), compromising, laid back but know when to be serious, not afraid of risk. I am very straight forward as i believe it's the best way to be, but i can also be quiet at times.
My Bio
I was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois. As a child my dream was that like many other young boys, i wanted to be a rock star. I wanted to be on stage. So i have spent years seeking out that destiny and living that dream. I have a passion for writing music. There's no greater satisfaction than playing something you wrote and watching it move people without ever saying a word. Any musician can understand what i am saying.
I play lead/ rythem guitar, but in a different way than most. I play the guitar upside down and strung backwards. I didn't know when i first picked up a guitar and started learning to play it that it was supposed to be held a certain way, so i went with what felt natural, lol oops.
I am a solo musician that writes my own complete guitar compilations with rythems, leads, harmonies, and fills. Anything you listen to on my player that has my name on it is something that was written entirely by me. All guitar rythems, layers, harmonies and fills are written and recorded by me. After it's copywritten i upload it to the site here in instrumental versions.
In my opinion the creation of "good" music comes from the soul of the person writing it. I try to do the same in trying to put as much heart and soul as i can into every song i write. The intent of my music is to take you on a journey, a roller coaster of emotions. To make you feel the melody, the happiness, the sorrow and the anger, the same feelings that were put into the music when writing it.
One of my biggest projects over the years was Kush. We played all over the Springfield area and opened for several national acts that came thru the area in the late 90's. I have been offered commercial recording contracts on 4 different songs over the past year. In addition, had interest shown in the music from labels like, Vigilant Promotions, Hilltop Records, Blue Stream Records, Metal Messiah Radio, and Monday Night Metal just to name a few.
