The current project I am in is called "TimeLine". We feature music spanning the time line for the 1950's up to today. TimeLine performs classic rock and country. For more info on "TimeLine", see MySpace at www.myspace.com/timelinecpcrband. You can also check out TimeLine at www.timelinecpcrband.webs.com.I started playing bass guitar over 30 years ago when a friend said I could join their band if I would play bass guitar. And so it started with a Framus bass guitar and a Premier Club Bass amp. Pretty soon my father bought me a larger bass amp, an Ampeg B-25, the band was named "Lucifer" and we played some small jobs. Being only 14 years of age it was difficult playing often since none of were driving yet. But we did come in third place in a local "Battle of the Bands" in Hellertown, Pa.As I got a bit older and started to drive, my interests changed and I stopped playing for a while. But, I still saved my money, traded the Framus bass guitar and bought a Gibson EBO.When I was about 18 years old, I joined a band called "White Wood" which was a band that featured a horn section. That did not last too long and I also had decided to go away to college. While in college, my father asked if he could sell my equipment as it was taking up space in the house and I was no longer playing. Since I had my chosen to go into law enforcement I said okay and stopped playing.I spent 26 years in law enforcement and retired in 2003. That same year, my wife Cathy, bought me an Ibanez jump start kit and I was off playing again. I have enjoyed many different bass guitars, several different bass amps and assorted equipment. Too much to list here, but, check my photos and the majority of my equipment will be there. My interest in music is vast and I enjoy a variety of different genres. Not that I play or want to play them all.I started off in a blues band and went from there to rock, progressive/art rock, oldies, classic rock, country and now to a blend of these genres. The musical projects that I have been in have been the following: "Down Right Blue": blues and a bit of rock and no longer together, "Mid Life Crisis": an oldies band now called "The Main Street Cruisers" http://www.mid-lifemusic.com/, "Impact": a classic rock and oldies band that really never got of the ground, "In A Pinch": classic rock http://www.ip.dogdrum.com/, Sharon Elaine: country/country pop http://www.sharon-elaine.com/ and now "TimeLine: 1950's through to present, country and blues www.myspace.com/timelinecpcrband.I have also done some fill in work and perform with the worship band at my church, First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem/http://fpc-bethlehem.org at the Oasis Contemporary Service, http://www.fpcoasis.com.Check back often to see what has changed, been updated and for dates and times when "TimeLine" is out and about playing or visit First Presbyterian Church during the contemporary service.
