I love to laugh! I like writing poetry, playing pool, socializing/hangin out, reading, bowling, going to the movies (mostly comedies) and just having fun. Occasionally I like to go clubbing and hang out in coffee shops as well. I'm pretty laid back and willing to try new things (for the most part). I am a non-denominational Christian. I believe in God and Jesus and the Bible. I just have issues with dealing with human beings in structured religious settings. I collect monkeys and anything Scooby Doo.

My friends will tell you that I can be pretty funny and that I'm fairly laid back. I like to go out and have fun and I'm cool with hanging out and watching a movie too. I like to dance and have a nice margarita every now and then. I'd like to meet someone who can start as a friend and grow from there. All good relationships are built on friendships. I'd like to meet someone who can show me new things and who wants to be shown things as well. I love to talk about music and I listen to most genres.

I LOVE music. I like just about any genre although R&B is probably my favorite. I also think that music is art and art should NEVER be censored.
My favorite movie of all time is Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (and yes I know I'm grown :] ) I love all kinds of movies, especially ones that make me laugh. I don't like scary movies for the most part 'cause I think they're not scary at all. I also LOVE LOVE LOVE musicals. I'm trying to see as many as I can 'cause there's a longer list of those I haven't seen then those I have.
I like to watch crime dramas like CSI (all 3 of em) and comedies like Friends and What I Like about You and I also love Desperate Housewives (who doesn't?) and Charmed.
last read: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series by Douglas Adams & Wicked, autobio of the Wicked Witch of the West from Oz. It's awesome. I am also reading Marvel character encylopedias. Reading multiple things at once keeps me well rounded :) I love Mary Higgins Clark and well written fiction. Some of my favorite fiction books are: Are You There God? It's Me Margaret by Judy Blume; The Invisible Man by Ralph Waldo Ellison; Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston; Jayne Eyre by Charlotte Bronte; and anything written by Maya Angelou.
My heroes are people who work hard and remain true to themselves. For example, Maya Angelou. I admire her tenacity and her ability to be herself so matter what happens to her. Of course I admire Jesus. What can I say about Jesus that hasn't already been said? Ever have the following question posed: If you could invite anyone, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would it be? My answer is Maya Angelou, Jesus, John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X and Tavis Smiley. I think that would be an incredible experience.
