BIOGRAPHY
Jamil Rashaad Jackson (born July 16, 1986), better known by his stage name Double G C.H.I (Chi for short) the rapper/beatmaker/DJ and his alias Mr Gentleman. Formerly a member of the rap groups the C-4, Crime Cartels, & CNS. Along with Hazard & MC Lion they've created the Cold Hearts Entertainment collective in Late 2007. "Music Is My Hustle EP", released in 2008, was C.H.I first album with Cold Hearts Entertainment, and C.H.I Chronicles Vol 2: The Lost Files (Originally Titled "Swagger Of A Champion") , his solo [original] debut, was set to release in Spring 2005 but the studio's computer crashed before distribution could began so "C.H.I Chronicles Vol.1" became his official debut and was released in Fall 2008.
Double G C.H.I was born Jamil Rashaad Jackson and grew up in the Clay Arsenal neighborhood of Hartford, Connecticut. Even With being born moderately hearing impaired, Asthmatic with Emphysema, C.H.I enrolled in the school band program of Barnard Brown Elementary School in the forth grade. He wrote his first rap song at age 11 called "Lady Lover". By the age of 13, he met & made a couple friend who formed the rapping quartet "C-4", then known to the world as "Kairless Kid" because of his "this is my world, i own it fuck you" attitude.
After a 5 year run and re-arranging members constantly C-4 split up but because he was so passionate about making music he never quit rapping/recording while the other members did, "I was never known to quit anything, when im passionate about something i'll pursue it to the fullest, so expect me to become more consistant overtime...especially when I'm in comfortable a position"
After the era of C-4 C.H.I then known as Kairless Kid then changed his name to Young Chino, which was short for Young Chino Eyed Moreno and CNS a rap duo which consisted of two former best friends making music together CNS stood for "Chino & Streets" and adding a couple friends "Crime Cartels: was formed. the group broken up because of C.H.I's first love. "what would you do? best friends since 2nd grade, she's ur first love and they get together after you two break up & their still together to this very day? think about it..". After making many diss records towards each other, they parted ways leaving C.H.I on a lone mission for success in the entertainment business.
Around fall/winter 2007 C.H.I ends up in the hospital after getting jumped by two guys twice his size both wearing brass knuckles & chains on their hands leaving him with a scar on his bottom lip and making his lisp worse than it already is, he still didn't give up making music simply because he's never been the type to quit anything! Being furiously angry at the mastermind behind C.H.I's hospitalization. Him, His Brother & Their Best Friend Hazard formed Cold Hearts Entertainment. They got the name because the hospital visit changed C.H.I. it made him more ambitious than ever & more heartless in the streets but a better gentleman towards women.
