THE MUSIC "AMOR INCONDICIONAL" (UNCONDITIONAL LOVE) WILL BE USE IN THE FILM "THE WITCH OF PORTOBELLO" ADAPTED FOR THE PAULO COELHO'S BOOK Júnia Maria Cheib Serra-Negra was born in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais (Brazil). JÚNIA SERRA-NEGRA is her artistic name. She was invited to sing a number of times at the weddings and social events of friends and relatives and began to work professionally in this capacity, which led her take a test and apply for the Musicians Order of Brazil in 2000. With her natural-born inquisitiveness, she has blazed her trail seeking the existentialist responses that influences her work. She used practice Yoga and has been part of the "Aurora Sortilege"Iniciatic School . During her studies at this school, she produced a CD of musical pieces for relaxation and meditation, denominated "Acústica Luz", released in 2001. Together with her husband and partner in composition, Marco Antonio Messias Monti, she coordinates a social project – an “action among friends” denominated “Better World” that brings music to daycare centers and nursing homes for the needy population of the city of Belo Horizonte. She puts on shows in these institutions and also brings her music into the school setting, sensitizing children and adolescents to take care of the environment, have respect for nature and self-knowledge. She is currently working on the production of her second CD, with arrangements by Juliana Serra, Cláudio B Dias e Victor de Morais, the aim of which is to explore the richness of Brazilian culture and musical styles, remaining faithful to the issue of reintegration of mankind to the universe and respect for the environment.Júnia Serra-Negra nasceu em Belo Horizonte, MG, Brasil. Em 2001 lançou seu primeiro CD chamado "Acústica Luz". Este CD foi elaborado para o público que se interessava por meditação. O segundo Cd, todo autoral, com parceria de seu marido Marco Antonio Monti, está em fase final de produção e tem show de lançamento previsto para 08/05/08. Teve por arranjadores: Cláudio Dias, Juliana Serra e Victor de Morais.
