Commence formerly known as 'Famous Last Words' are a progressive rock band hailing from Nottingham England. After Gigging now and again for the past few years the band have built a sterling reputation amongst their home town, hopefully and willing to develope and in herit a new and better sound; so the reputation can progress to different places in the UK.
After Forming in 2005 as 'Famous Last Words' they had a hard time practicing in small box rooms with half a drum kit and under sized amps. Just recently in 2007/08 the band began to find their sound as they improved their EP 'sober isnt good enough' Commence have only just really begun and knuckle down to achive the best of their abilities.
In March the band recorded there new EP which is still in the process of being mixed and have taken a break due to individual commitments.This is not the end of Commence they will be back shortly so keep your eyes and ears open!
