Here is an explanation that I retain useful for all those who want to approach to the Frangar project. The events that carried us a different direction with respect to the usual BM standards are many, simple and personal, and followed us since the early times. They eventually turned out to be the directive line of the project.
I wanted to tell all Italians and all the concerned foreigners, the history that is being forgotten, concealed, and one that can’t even read in books.
Stories and protagonists of a remote era where one’s ideas were made of supreme convictions, guided by honor, by duty! Broken by tremendous trials and boundless sufferings…may the fatigue of those soldiers, of those men, of those ITALIANS make sense and keep this fascination that has ever been a strike, in heart and pride.
We are lucky to live in a city, that however small it is, made the history of the united Italy, that gave birth to soldiers of great value, to highly skilled artists, and that always have new stories to tell. Enough said to make you search… It is our will to search, to try to understand the ideas that once were and that showed us the path we wanted to follow.
And thus we tell about those simple soldiers that from 800 wished a united Italy, about those soldiers who made the forgotten and disastrous first campaign of conquest in Africa, about those Arditi who fought for the nation and died with the Tricolore in hand, about those voluntary Italians who were sent to foreign countries to bring their faith, about those Italians who took the arms even the last days of war despite they knew how this would end… even in a bad state, starving, out of money and without having slept, their mind remained serene as they knew that they did what had to be done.
Even the sun of the defeated heats…

Mi accingo a scrivere una spiegazione che ritengo utile per tutti coloro che vogliono avvicinarsi al progetto Frangar e non.
Gli eventi che ci portarono ad intraprendere una diversa direzione rispetto ai normali canoni del BM sono molti, semplici e personali, ci hanno seguito fin dai primi attimi ma solo più avanti abbiamo deciso di farli diventare la parte principale del progetto.
Volevamo narrare agli italiani, e a tutti gli stranieri interessati, la storia che si sta dimenticando, che si sta trafugando e che spesso e volentieri non viene nemmeno più citata nei libri…
Storie e protagonisti di un’epoca remota dove si attuavano con suprema convinzione le proprie idee, guidati dall’onore, dal dovere! Distrutti da prove tremende e sconfinati dolori…possa allora la fatica di questi soldati, di questi uomini, di questi ITALIANI avere una buona sorte e conservare questo fascino che sempre ci ha colpito, nel cuore e nell’orgoglio.
Noi abbiamo la fortuna di vivere in una città che nel suo piccolo ha fatto la storia dell’unità d’Italia, che ha dato i natali a soldati di grande valore, artisti di notevole livello e che ha sempre nuove storie da raccontare, basta solo saper cercare…E’ questa nostra voglia di cercare, di provare a capire le idee che furono che ci hanno indicato la strada che volevamo seguire.
E così narriamo di quei semplici soldati che a inizio 800 volevano un’Italia unita, di quei soldati che hanno fatto le prime dimenticate e disastrose campagne di conquista in Africa, di quegli arditi che combattevano per la patria morendo con il tricolore in mano, di quegli italiani che sono partiti volontari in altri paesi per portare la loro fede, di quegli italiani che hanno impugnato le armi anche negli ultimi giorni di guerra pur sapendo gia da tempo come sarebbe finita…anche se ridotti male, affamati, con le tasche vuote e senza aver dormito avevano l’animo placato perché sapevano di aver fatto ciò che andava fatto.
Anche il sole dei vinti riscalda…
