Used For Comparison was born in the fall of 1995, when high school freshman Ian McMahon suggested to fellow high school freshman Charles Boehmig that some sort of musical alliance should be formed. Since that time, Used For Comparison has gone through a number of lineup and style changes, "released" a handful of EPs and two full-length albums (2000's Old Dead Astronauts and 2002's Goodbye Blue Monday), played on the radio, and tried (with varying degrees of success) to hit each other in the groin with common household objects. (Hint: A rolled-up sock inside of another sock works well!)
UFC is taking a break for the time being. Temporary or permanent? Time will tell. In the meantime, enjoy the tracks we've posted here.
Thanks for the memories!
