In a little under 6 months after their solidified line up, 1 year after their conception, Primordius™ has already built a strong and loyal fan base in the DFW, TX Metal scene. In songwriting they consistently seek out opportunities to challenge themselves in mastering levels of technical achievements found in their wide range of influences. Primordius™ has been defined as a Death Metal, Progressive Metal and Grindcore hybrid with a strong element of Power Groove. Their style continues to be a drum-heavy production of double picking and double-kick drumming. Primordius™ has effectively bridged the 1990’s technicality and early metal’s focus on riff construction and applies strong leads with great harmonies much like their math metal peers without going to far over board with intricacy. Applying great hooks and strong catchy rhythms is a definite focus found in every song they have created. Think of Thor hitting the pipe with dominated armies begging for mercy in the background and you have Primordius™.
The quartet is steadily becoming a fixture in the tightly knit DFW, TX music scene. To continue to be a force to be reckoned with among the high-level of musicianship displayed by their contemporaries, the band adopted a rigid practice schedule. Primordius™ has raised the bar musically and strengthened their work ethic needed to be a success. In writing Primordius™ has done their best not to create the typical “Heavy Metal” song. The songs are diverse, progressive and attractive to the average listener as well as the Death Metal enthusiast. Primordius™ is always driven to explore what they can get away with within the boundaries of the genre.
Primordiusâ„¢ is a driving machine with a goal for success securely in their grasp. Each member of the band has been working on their career and made the sacrifices necessary to place the band at the highest position of their priorities. From Internet marketing and promotions to putting up posters in venues and stores, not a day goes by that something is not done to move Primordiusâ„¢ ever forward. You will see them and you will hear of them. With every effort taken to get their music and name on the global scene Primordiusâ„¢ will be a band that many will use as a template for how pure Texas Metal is performed.
