Always been a poet, and I've always listened/appreciated hip hop music and culture. Finally, establishing my official rapping career during the final months of 2007, I put poetry to music and became a rapper/producer.
I've played the trumpet for over 9 years. I've taken guitar lessons for a year. I have substantial knowledge of the piano; I know my keys, chords, and scales. I'd like to learn how to control the pitch of the sound created upon releasing flatulence. If anyone has mastered this skill, I'll pay for lessons.
Why did the name change to "Scryptah?"
'Scripta' is a latin term which means: 'writer' 'author' or 'scribe.'
Journalism is another passion of mine, and I think of myself as a modern day scribe. For these reasons, 'Scryptah' is fitting. Still though, I'll say Jerrod Thomas or JT on my music because that's who I am; I'm also a 'scripta' though lol.
Thank you for listening to my music, I'm extremely thankful for ALL of the feedback that I recieve, so PLEASE leave me a comment or inbox message to lemme know whatchya think!
