If you have not had the pleasure of meeting me yet, let me give you a pretty solem, yet accurate description. I'm an optimistic idiot. Atleast that's what my mom calls me on a constant basis. I love to learn, teach, and remain ignorant all at once. I am a book smart kind of girl who likes making others feel stupid by using big words with no real point them, lol. I am truly interested in writing and literature. Currently, I'm going to school with the purest aspirations of putting my passions to use. I love reading. Anyways, aside from being a nerd during my down time, I also have this party girl ultra ego. Whether I'm belligerent or completely sober, I will be the first and last to drop a shot... Lol, in short, I love making an ass out of myself. But, like my dad always says, if you cant let your hair down then you might as well give up and cut it off-- ask Britney Spears. Other than my down and free time, I have a somewhat proffessional side. It seems that I was lucky enough to land this pretty decent job that I've become pretty surrounded by. Its border line blue collar but not so much at the same time. Lucky for me, it requires alot of typing and recording which I don't mind at all. Having covered every general piece of my life, I can now sum it all up. My favorite obsession is my son. Throughout all of my hustle and bustle, I always have and always will involve him in every peice. It was just last week that I took him into my work for a full hour, and just played in our office. Not professional, I know, but motherly right? When I have friends over, unless its some sort of crazy night, I love to keep him up for an extra half hour just to show him off. Then again-- he really gets the parties started. And, when I'm relaxing with a good book, I almost always read it along with him. My son Ian has made me into an optimistic idiot by allowing me to find enjoyment through him in every piece of my life.

My style of music is very unsystematic and unique. I love Maroon 5, Gwen Stafani, Coldplay, John Legend, The White Stripes, Keyshia Cole, The Killers, India Arie, 311, Journey, UB40, Better than Ezra, Justin Timberlake, etc. Quite honestly, I have far too many favorites to list. In general, I have no specific preference. My numerous CD cases and play lists include just about every Billboard artist since the 70's and then some. Jazz, hip hop, R&B, rock, new age, etc; As long as the beat is catchy and it makes me move then its okay with me. As my dad always says, "our lives run off a beat anyways... we might as well give it a rhythem."

I love movies- its a favorite past time. Basically, I'm a romantic comedy type of gal (what girl isn't), but other than that I love Will Farell movies, like Elf, Talladega Nights, etc. My favorites are Old School, The Princess Bride, and the list goes on and on....

I love Desperate House Wives... American idol... Nip Tuck... and The Shield...
LOVE YOU FOREVER (every mom should own that book), Icy Sparks by Gwyn Rubio, The Undomesticated Woman, A Million Little Pieces by James Frey, Star Girl, A Child Called It... Basically, I love novels of all types, horrorr, romance (not perv rated literature), science fiction... I enjoy reading, although I don't have much time for it. Generally, I only read media junk that I find conveniently in my daily news paper or my monthly Cosmo mag. Lol, I have to admit I love the World Record books and my numerous Egyptian books ( I love to dream lol). My latest 'favorite' would be the book For One More Day by Mitch Albom- read it! Currently, I cannot seem to put The Lovely Bones down- it's a must-read for sure... PROBABLY THE BEST BOOK I HAVE READ THUS FAR.The Secret is horse crap- just a lil' FYI- be smarter than me and don't waste your money! I love to read, it keeps me on my toes, and lasts much longer than a movie. Rod can't stand that I always have my face between pages, but at least Ian loves it... especially my Astronomy text book! Seriously.
Ian saved me, so I suppose he is my own personal hero. I wasn't killing myself or anything, but before he was born I wasn't really living in the first place. He's made me a better person, and I owe everything I am now to him. My parents are remarkable. No matter how bad I screw up they help me and set me straight before I make matters worse, which I would deffinantly do without them. My uncle, Matt... there no words... I will always remember him and pass on his legacy to those, I feel, are privileged enough to here about his life. A few old friends stand out as being people I look up to, but they already know seeing as how I remind them often. I admire some famous idols, but let me be sure to mention they are not my heroes. Pamela Anederson for sure- hottest Mom EVER- definition MILF!!! Oh yes, I couldn't go without mentioning the stunning Audrey Hepburn- magnificent!
