About Me

In the late 90s a spawn of hip-hop culture, AloeWon - a powerful emcee, US Soldier, father, son, boyfriend, and foster child of the pioneers, started an online hip-hop oriented website in the hopes that he would come across more like minded music lovers. As he watched the "Rap Phenom" explode in suburbia he started feeling like he was losing faith and being torn away from "H.E.R."To re-affirm his dedication to the love of his life by proving that after satisfying the masses with it's flash and dance joints.... the true heart and soul of "rap music" has it's roots planted deeply & firmly in the underground. The very essence, self expression, burning at the core of the B-boys and girls who powerfully make the statement "I AM HIP-HOP" come to life with their art... the emcees, the djs, the graf artists, and breakdancers... the conscious! the hungry! the driven...to be continued....
