I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

San Francisco musician, guitarist and singer. I love mixing Americana music w/ Indian classical music. A lot of fingerpickin', vocal dynamics, electroncia infused, jammin' compositions. Currently in the studio finishing my debut EP, to be out in Summer 2007. Regular live shows in San Francisco pretty most of the time.
Grew up in Minneapolis and south Florida. Skater for most of my life. My family is made up of Brooklyn raised Jews, from Russia, Poland, N. Mongolia.
Family was raised in Bensenherst.. My grandfather was a doctor working in the Yiddish and Russian communities, spoke five languages. Was a violinist in the Louisville Symphany Orchestra while in medical school. His father owned a steel mill in Manhattan in the 1930's. My my mom and pop moved to Minnesota when I was in the first grade. Ending up traveling between Minneapolis and south Florida. Mpls was where I'd listen to my dad pick and sing John Gorka, Pat Donohue, and some hobo lullabies. Grew up istening to Leo Kottke, John Prine in the car driving with my dad... Pretty sweet stuff!
Went to Oberlin College, graduated '99, moved to Frisco in '00 and love this city! Love this place! Mucho down for cultural diversity everywhere, great music, backporchs, long trips in the car with my best folks, reunion dinners, holidays, toasting glasses w/ wine from the napa valley and beyond!
