I grew up in the suburbs of northern New Jersey. My parents were quasi-hippies turned yuppies. I wasn't allowed to watch commercial television, exceptions being made for MacGyver and reruns of The Waltons. I was, and I am, a dork. When I was eight or nine I was thrown out of a birthday party.
I played youth soccer for a while, but wasn't very good. In high school, I was in the drama club and hung out with the kids in marching band. In college I drank alot, and worked on the literary magazine. Now I work as a graphic designer for a small consulting firm. I live in Jersey City, not for any special reason other than its proximity to Manhattan...
